All students are required to bring their own Windows 10 laptop.  The complete technology requirements can be found here at MC's Technology Needs

Microsoft Office 365

All Malden Catholic students have Office 365 accounts which provides them with access to online services such as OneDrive (cloud storage up to 1 TB), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.

Important note: You do not need to purchase Microsoft Office. As part of our license agreement with Microsoft, all students can download and install the latest version of Microsoft Office onto their laptops at no cost.

G Suite for Education (formerly Google Apps for Education)

All Malden Catholic students will also have G Suite for Education accounts which provides them with access to online services such as Google Drive (unlimited cloud storage), Docs, Sheets, Slides, Classroom, etc.

Malden Catholic is offering families Spring Orientation on April 4th (Girls) and April 5th (Boys) from 6:30-8:00.  At least one parent and the student should attend.

Spring Orientation will cover 1) the health forms and requirements for our School Nurse, 2) how to sign up for athletics with our Athletic Director, 3) a review of technology needs, 4) uniform purchase information and 5) questions about transportation, lunch and the purchase of books.  

We hope that you and your families are enjoying your summer so far.  We are looking forward to seeing many of your daughters and sons at the Malden Catholic Freshman Experience (MCX). This event takes place August 16-18, 8:30am - 12:00 pm. Incoming 9th graders are encouraged to join their classmates in this 3-day comprehensive experience that will acclimate future Lancers in their four-year journey at Malden Catholic.  If your child has not yet signed up, you can register below.

Through the disciplines of Theology and Math, students will:

• Be introduced to their peers as the class of 2026 and build life-long relationships.
• Get to know a number of talented faculty and staff prior to school beginning.
• Acquaint and familiarize oneself with the rigor of the Malden Catholic curriculum.
• Work on the written component of the summer reading assignment.
• Learn techniques and strategies to become better organized and prepared for the upcoming school year.
• Meet their School Counselor.

Students must be in their school uniforms for the first two days of MCX.  Students will not need their laptops until Freshman Orientation, August 31. 

Snacks will be served.

 

MC families, faculty and staff will meet and mingle outside in a fun environment for the Class of 2026 and their families while enjoying BBQ lunch.  Time TBA

Meet and work out with MC's head coaches over the Summer!  MC is running sports camps in basketball, baseball, hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, cross-country, rugby and other sports.  This is a great chance to meet MC's coaches and staff while working out with your future classmates!
