President Thornburg's Reflection 1.4.26
Happy New Year! We look forward to welcoming you back to school tomorrow, Monday, January 5.

As we bid farewell to 2025, we are grateful for the blessings of the past year. Our new building (50 Crystal) is complete, and we welcomed a record number of new students, including our 7th- and 8th-grade students.

We look forward to 2026 with hope and anticipation. Our enrollment remains strong, our capital campaign is expected to reach a successful conclusion, and we will launch a new strategic plan. There is much to look forward to in the upcoming year.

The start of a new year allows us to reflect on the past and set our hopes for the future.

The Apostle Paul, in the Book of Philippians, writes, “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

We have much to be thankful for from 2025, but now is the time to move forward boldly into what God has planned for our school community this year. I am looking forward to seeing what He has planned!

John Thornburg
