Campus Ministry

Welcome to MC Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry at Malden Catholic High School supports the mission of creating a community of faith where all members of the school can encounter Christ and experience and celebrate the meaning of Christian living. It nurtures the faith formation of students, faculty and staff through development, coordination and supervision of liturgical and religious-experiential programs. Campus Ministry prepares students to understand life in light of the Gospel imperatives that calls all believers to discipleship, using their talents and competencies to build the Kingdom of God with justice and love for one's neighbor.

Complementing the theology taught in the classroom, and responding to Xaverian Brothers’ founder Theodore James Ryken’s vision that we “fall in love with the service of God,” Campus Ministry offers and supports rich opportunities for student service. Ministry activities include coordinating student and faculty retreats, planning of school liturgies and prayer services, sponsoring a wide variety of charitable drives, offering pastoral counseling, and coordinating student Christian service activities.

Our Campus Ministry Center, located in Room 230, is open to all students during unstructured periods throughout the day. The Center is supervised by MC Campus Ministers and members of the Theology Department. The Campus Ministry Center also serves as both a study center and headquarters for the Campus Ministry team.
