Strength & Conditioning

Following the mission of Malden Catholic, the strength and conditioning department sets out to improve athletic performance and promoting physical activity to the student body. Focusing on a well-balanced and year-round program the coaching staff believe in developing athletes to excel in the physical and mental demands of their sport while utilizing evidence-based training programs to enhance athletic performance, build muscle, improve flexibility, and minimize injury risk, with expert guidance on nutrition, recovery, and specialized training plans to reach peak potential.  We hope that the student body will take what they learn and continue to lead a healthy lifestyle after their time at Malden Catholic.

We offer both in-season and offseason programs for all Malden Catholic teams.

Currently the weight room is open between 1:30-6:30 Monday-Friday for student use. We encourage students not currently playing a sport to attend offseason training 2:30-3:30, and in season teams will have priority to reserve the weight room for workouts between 3:30-6:30.
