MC Welcomes International Students

Malden Catholic is SEVIS approved and is proud to welcome international students!

Over the past several years, we have students from the People's Republic of China, South Korea, Vietnam, Europe, Brazil and Russia. Malden Catholic does not provide boarding facilities. International students at MC often use agency services for host family arrangements and guardianship in the United States. Students must apply through an approved agency. Please see the list of agencies here. Or, students may stay with a family member living in the Boston area. Students who enroll at Malden Catholic with agency representation are required to remain with that agency throughout their education.

If you are an international student or parent interested in learning more about our extraordinary academic program at Malden Catholic, please contact Mrs. Mary-Anne Di Marco P'88 '91, Director of International Programs, at dimarcom@maldencatholic.org.

Why Do International Students Come to Malden Catholic?

Malden Catholic offers the best possible high school experience for international students. Over the years, international students have been attracted to our excellent college acceptances and our exceptional academic curriculum which focuses on the Sciences, STEM, Mathematics and the Humanities. We also have a history of strong winning sports programs and numerous cocurricular activities in which students can pursue their passions and find new ways of expressing themselves.

Why Do International Students Stay?

The majority of our Diploma students will graduate with their class, and our Exchange students will stay for the year due to our talented teachers, caring faculty/staff, dedicated athletic coaches and modern facilities such as labs and library. It doesn’t take long for our new students to become involved and feel fully integrated with their school life and their new adventure. MC provides a familial environment, where students have an overall feeling of belonging among their new friends. In addition, our host families provide a warm, supportive environment for students while they are away from their parents and friends.
