Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to look at Malden Catholic High School, the only independent, codivisional Catholic high school in the Greater Boston region. Codivisional education is an educational model that will offer your child the best of both worlds: rigorous, single-gender academics and integrated social and extracurricular opportunities after school. We are thrilled to be able to extend this opportunity to young women with the opening of Malden Catholic School for Girls in September 2018.
For more than 85 years, Malden Catholic has maintained a tradition of leading students to achieve academic excellence in a supportive, family-like atmosphere. Throughout our history, we have been guided by the mission, vision, and values of the Xaverian Brothers as a member of the highly esteemed national network of Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools.
Every year, our graduates are accepted to a wide range of highly recognized universities, from Ivy League colleges to acclaimed state and Catholic universities. Our recent graduates are attending many outstanding schools, including Harvard, Cornell, the United States Naval Academy, Notre Dame, Boston College, Tufts, Georgetown, and Dartmouth to name a few. Recognized for our dedicated faculty, challenging curriculum, college placement record, social outreach, and championship caliber athletic programs, Malden Catholic educates students from more than 40 communities surrounding Boston.
Among the Malden Catholic Class of 2019:
- 98% attended four-year colleges.
- Graduates were awarded over $15 million in four-year college scholarship funds.
- 2019 Graduates applied to over 220 different colleges and universities distributed over 30 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, and Australia.
Not only will Malden Catholic prepare you for college and life beyond, but it’s also a great place to grow and learn. We offer more than 38 extracurricular activities, 14 sports for boys, and 10 sports for girls. In recent years, we have invested over $30 million into our school, including new STEM facilities, two new single-gender Learning Commons for boys and girls, newly renovated athletic fields, and a completely renovated 30,000 sq. ft. wing of the building that houses the School for Girls. We hope you will take the time to come for a visit to see all that we have to offer!
