IMPORTANT INFORMATION
AP Exams - 5.5 to 5.19
AP exams will continue through Monday, May 19. Students are reminded to check their MC email and read important test-specific information sent by MC's School Counseling Director, Mrs. Parker. Students must arrive no later than 7:45a.m. for morning exams and 11:45a.m. for afternoon exams. Students will not be admitted into testing classrooms if they are late. There are no make-up dates for the exams.
Please note the following instructions:
- Students must come to exams (except Spanish) with a fully charged laptop, charger, and Bluebook installed. Students must know their college board account login information to access all exams. It will not be saved onto your device.
- Students who are taking an AM exam may go home once the exam is finished.
- Students who have a PM exam do not need to come to school prior to the exam.
- Any student who has a PM exam, but still needs to arrive early, may study in the Learning Commons prior to the exam.
- All AP test takers may dress down for exams, following dress down guidelines.

College Acceptances
MC School and College Counseling would like to remind Grade 12 students to update Naviance with college acceptances and their final college choice. Final transcripts will be sent only to the college you set as your final choice. Please reach out to Ms. DelGenio with any questions at delgenios@maldencatholic.org.

College scholarship opportunities are beginning to come into our office every week. Scholarships are listed in Naviance regularly and are also posted on the bulletin boards in the counseling area. Please see your counselor with any questions.

The Malden Catholic School & College Counseling Department serves the individualized needs of our diverse student population by promoting the spiritual, academic, social and personal educational development of each student.
The department strives to assist students in their academic development and the personal development needed to become contributing members of society.
With an emphasis on building relationships, MC’s School & College Counseling Department provides:
- Comprehensive counseling to students through individual and group guidance
- Consultation with parents, faculty and administration
- Coordination of services for individual students as needed.
Academic Counseling also provides short-term and long-term goal setting for college and careers, assistance in navigating academic difficulties and strategies for academic success.

College Fair
Each spring, MC hosts the Malden Catholic College Fair with over 100 colleges and universities in attendance from across the United States. The 2026 MC College Fair is scheduled to take place in the spring of 2026 in the Doherty Gymnasium at Malden Catholic.
College Visits
Beginning in September, a host of colleges and universities visit MC weekly for admissions information sessions. The weekly college visit schedule is available through the School and College Counseling office.
