School & College Counseling

The Malden Catholic School & College Counseling Department serves the individualized needs of our diverse student population by promoting the spiritual, academic, social and personal educational development of each student. The department strives to assist students in their academic development and the personal development needed to become contributing members of society.

With an emphasis on building relationships, MC’s School & College Counseling Department provides:

  • Comprehensive counseling to students through individual and group guidance
  • Consultation with parents, faculty and administration
  • Coordination of services for individual students as needed.

Academic Counseling also provides short-term and long-term goal setting for college and careers, assistance in navigating academic difficulties and strategies for academic success.

College Fair

Each spring, MC hosts the Malden Catholic College Fair with over 100 colleges and universities in attendance from across the United States.  

College Visits

  • Beginning in September, a host of colleges and universities visit MC weekly for admissions information sessions. The weekly college visit schedule is available through the School and College Counseling office.
