Student Spotlight - Mia Waldron '26 Revere

Our next Student Spotlight is on Mia Waldron '26 from Revere! She is just one of the many students who makes MC great. Congrats Mia!

What clubs and sports do you participate in? I participate in Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field and Outdoor Track and Field.

What is your favorite class? Although it can be difficult sometimes, math is my favorite. However, AP Seminar is close second.

Hometown? Revere

Favorite thing about MC? The community at MC, which has helped me step out of my comfort zone and do things that I would have never been able to do at my past school. Everyone, teachers and students alike, are so kind and welcoming that its hard to feel uncomfortable or unable to do something that you think about doing, even if its not something that your used to be doing.

Favorite MC memory? My favorite memories are the AP Physics Disney trip and qualifying for all-states in the mile last indoor track season.

Advice for incoming freshman? Try to do extracurriculars during the school year, but do not do too much. Extracurriculars can help you become more integrated into the school community, building meaningful relationships that last throughout your life. Extracurriculars also can help you enjoy school more and understand all that there is to offer at MC. But, it is important that you do not do too much, since it is very difficult to manage time with the amount of activities you will be doing, especially if this is your first year at high school.
