Boston Globe Names MC Girls Hockey #2 in Division 1

The reigning Division 1 champion opens the year atop the Globe’s Top 20.
Hingham, despite losing stars to graduation and prep school, returns a key contingent of last year’s championship squad. Led by CC Flynn, Callie Crean, Hannah Lasch, and the goalie duo of Izzi Puleo and Izzy McGarr, the Harborwomen are poised to be a top contender again.
Malden Catholic, which continues to grow in prominence entering its fifth season, earns the No. 2 spot to open the year led by the dynamic Abbie Poole. Perennial threats Methuen/Tewksbury, Duxbury, and Notre Dame (Hingham) round out the top five.
