We are a Codivisional School
A unique model among Catholic schools in the New England area, codivisional education is an educational model that will offers students the best of both worlds - rigorous, single-gender academics during the school day and integrated social and extracurricular opportunities after school. Codivisional means that Malden Catholic is one school that features two separate academic divisions, the Boys Division and the Girls Division, with their own single-gender classes. This allows teachers to cater their teaching methods/styles to best meet the needs of the individual class. Students have ample opportunities to socialize and collaborate before and after school, but not during school hours. Malden Catholic is not a “co-ed” school, because academic classes do not integrate boys and girls together.
I definitely think that the co divisional model of model Catholic has helped with my success in the classroom. It is just a much more of a comfortable setting for me. There's a certain sisterhood that Malden Catholic has, not just in the hallways and not just at events, but also in the classroom.
