Malden Catholic makes a concerted effort to meet the needs of all our families. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about tuition, payment options, scholarships, or financial assistance awards.
Determining Eligibility for Assistance
Eligibility for financial assistance is determined through an evaluation of your ability to contribute toward educational expenses. Malden Catholic’s philosophy for awarding financial assistance is based on the belief that you have the primary responsibility for paying for school. Academic excellence and ability to pay are factors that Malden Catholic uses to determine how and to what extent financial need will be met.
Evaluating Financial Need
Malden Catholic uses the FACTS Grant Aid and Assessment Service formulas to determine a family’s ability to pay. The formula assesses only a modest estimate of your discretionary expenses beyond the amount of money needed for very basic living expenses for the number of people in your family. Appeals based on high credit card debt, car payments, college expenses, vacations, or other discretionary expenses are not considered.
